Boubacar Diarra works as a professional soccer player in Germany. He has purchased two, used transporter vans to be brought from Freiburg, Germany to Bamako in Mali. There the vans are to be used as taxis to provide economic livelihood for the family.

The film "Taxi to Africa" follows the adventurous journey of the transported vehicles and reveals the different worlds of this soccer player.
